Musa (surname withheld) was travelling along the Gauraka village and Zuma Rock, along Abuja-Kaduna road, when he was attacked by ten armed robbers dressed in haphazard army camouflage. He was able to escaped leaving his family in the car. He (Musa) was able to send an SOS message to a group leader he belong to on blackberry. The group called Wole Street Journal (WSJ).
Here is the confession; “I want all the forumites to help me thank WSJ for saving my family life yesterday. On our way to Abuja from Kaduna, about ten armed robbers dressed in haphazard army camouflage uniforms with assault rifles attacked my family in our car between Gauraka village and Zuma Rock, along Abuja-Kaduna road. I escaped to the nearby bush left my wife and four children inside the car. I don't know who to call but remember to send SOS to WSJ with my Blackberry, he called me back immediately and confirm my location. Within 10 minutes, soldiers from the Quick Response Group of Army Headquarters Defence Battallion, Abuja came to our rescue. They killed 2 of the robbers who were about to rape my only girl."
"I will continue to be a member of this forum. I can't thank you all for your support" Musa revealed.
What more can a blackberry do than this? Proper use of blackberry and social network can really safe life and go a long way.
