Nigeria may soon divide : Obvious reasons why ACN Reps disowns House over national conference

Abimbola Kumapayi writes in his commments to the punch publication of 24th February 2012 that ''ACN Reps Disown House Over National Conference''.

His comments read thus: ACN represents its people- “Yoruba” nation, in the present day nigeria, at its House of Representatives. Yes “Yoruba” is a nation and our representatives cannot be just ignored by its leadership just like that ! Its an insult to our collective integrity as a “people”. We are a nation- a nation of kindred ideal and not one of imposition or one of “My command, you take the order “. We are free people, a free nation !
We are not like others, we just want the whole country to know. We eschew violence hence we have gently called for this meeting-SNC !
It is important we have it now, otherwise there could be no peace.
In international law, we” yorubas” of the south western nigeria are a” nation ” within the definition of “nation-state nigeria” because we share the same identity- language, culture and boundary or suffices to say we are homogenous !
So, no matter how much we are discouraged, we shall still continue to press for our demands, and if worse comes to the worst, we shall seek the necessary channel by calling on the UN to intervene.
If we are no longer interested in the co-existence today, there are procedures to follow and we shall be through without raising a finger against other tribes.
You see, the whole world has changed and new orders have come to play.
In the past, it was not permitted to use international law to achieve political corrections, but events round the globe recently, have changed all those midset- Iraq, Ivory Coast, Haiti and Libya are good examples. So stop being ignorant of this development, anything can happen any time to anybody.
The whole global world is even angry with nigeria over the UN building bombed without any justification and no remorse or apologies tendered by the nigerian “terror cell” the Boko Haram.
Nigeria is creating atmosphere of danger for the whole planet as we can see- Boko-Haram, Niger-Delta and others yet unkown are potential dangers to world peace !
So, let us discuss this important issue before it is too late ! We really need to re-arrange our setting, there are lots to be restructured.We enjoy nigeria as a place but not as a people! Yes we are not given the right recognition in the country we called our own. So we must redefine this co-existence one more time. Yes we nhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifeed to re-visit it.
The trouble need not starts from the Assembly down there in Abuja, it may just have to happen from the streets of Lagos here, where we can order every non-tribe to go home !
Dont think it is not possible because it is happening in the north, so why not in the south ?
Every church going up in flame, Boko creating a “mini-war” front. No enough is enough, let us talk.
The call for National Sovereign Council is just the civil way to communicate with ourselves and if this fails, other measures will have to apply. So let us talk, it is long overdue.
