
Sympathizing with the family of the victim, Mr Cameron stated that the British public has lost a brave soldier and the heartfelt condolence and support are with the victim’s family. Meanwhile, Boris Johnson the Mayor of London, who visited the scene of the murder by noon on Thursday, affirmed that the guilty will swiftly be brought to justice. The act, described as pointless by both the British Minster and the Mayor of London has no justification attributed to the British foreign policies.
At the scene on Thursday, the Asst Commissioner of Metropolitan Police, Liam Bryme appealed to the British public to go about their normal activities as the police and security forces are continuing in their investigations.
Two men were confirmed arrested and are under armed guard in different hospitals in London. In the early hours of Thursday, members of the British Counter Terrorism Command swooped on two linked addresses, one at Greenwich; a few killometres away from the scene of the murder in Woolwich and the other at Linconshire. Four people among whom were two females and a teenager were held by the police at the Greenwich address.

Street Journal’s reporter at the scene of the murder confirmed that the victim, a serving soldier at Woolich Army Barracks was not going to be named due to his family wish. Street Journal’s investigations also revealed that one of the suspects named Micheal Adeboloja, a British citizen born into a Christian Nigerian parentage was a convert and may have been radicalised after leaving college in 2003 according to his friend on the tweeter handle @AbuNusaybahUK www.twitter.com/AbuNusaybahUK tweeted “Michael was reverted and became known among his gangs as ‘Mujahid’. AbuNusaybahUK was so surprised Michael could do such heinous killing in his political and war propaganda he often portends following his conversion few years back after leaving college.
The entire British Muslims have described the killing as having ‘no basis in Islam’ and denounced these craze-filled killers parading themselves as Muslims among the British society.
Forensic investigations are still ongoing barely 24 hours at the scene and a police helicopter is seen hovering around the Woolich areas of the London South East. Meanwhile, investigation into the killing continues.
